Lives and works in Egypt

Artist statement

My practice moves between mixed media, photography, and painting, exploring human vulnerability, identity, time, and the systems that shape our lives. I am interested in what happens to people when they encounter forces larger than themselves, whether social, political, environmental, technological, or deeply personal. The human presence is central to my work, appearing through bodies, fragments, symbols, traces, and sometimes absence. I often bring together images and materials from different contexts, using layering, contrast, and transformation to create unexpected relationships between them. Questions of belonging, power, memory, mortality, and change repeatedly enter my work, without being tied to one subject or visual language. Rather than committing to a fixed medium, I allow each idea to guide the form it takes and continue experimenting across photographic, painterly, and material processes. My practice is ultimately driven by curiosity about the human condition and the visible and invisible structures through which we experience ourselves and the world.
