Artist statement

My work collapses boundaries between interior and exterior, past and future, here and there, creating portals that invite viewers into layered narratives. Through recurring symbols like tropical plants, staircases, and mirrors, I conjure omens and metaphors that bridge disparate realms. In immersive installations and camouflaged collages, I use reflection and concealment to transform invisibility into agency, while non-linear compositions—such as fragmented paintings or tarot-inspired works on paper—interweave ancestral histories with speculative futures. My practice reimagines space as a dynamic continuum where personal and collective identities converge and evolve.
