Artist statement

Why is art important ? Despite of all the ugliness, poverty, lies, wars in the world. Art serves as redemption for humanity. It is an honest reflection of ones inner self. To leave the earth a little more beautiful than it was when we found it. Why me ? I believe it is the same for me as it was for Van Gogh. Once he knew what he was good at there was nothing that would stop him. God in his infinite wisdom blesses us with talents that we must develop, that is my life’s purpose, to create works of art that inspire, invoke, spark joy and inspiration.
