Artist statement
My practice explores the radical potentialities of art through investigation. I use a broad range of artistic mediums, including but not limited to sculpture, photography, media, fashion, and writing. I primarily employ items that are worn on the body as means to communicate and explore themes of the Black diaspora such as community, spirituality, protest, education, and the evolution of personal identity.
