Lives and works in Vienna, Austria
Artist statement
My practice weaves together personal memory, archival fragments, and socio‑political history to explore how narratives of revolution, displacement, and lived experience endure in both visible and hidden forms. Drawing on family photographs I interrogate how moments of upheaval are recorded, mythologised, and passed on. Through video installations, prints, collages, and spatial interventions, I seek to expose the layering of time, gesture, and image, and to evoke the tension between the intimate and the collective. This is a fundamentally process-based practice in which materials shift from project to project, as each archive demands its own medial and conceptual supports. I am interested in the archive not as static evidence, but as a site of potential: where what is forgotten or omitted may be re‑imagined, where silence accrues meaning, and where hope and disquiet both have place.
