Artist statement

My artwork is inspired by the forms we encounter in nature and everyday life. I explore the connections of different living systems, on biological, social and cultural level, looking for the interdependence between them. I work mostly in the area of painting and drawing. Each project starts with the production of smaller series of works along with the research about the subject, which lead me to the creation of the bigger pieces. While creating most of my projects by myself, I also participate often in collaborative projects that are carried out with other artists, local communities (in case of artist residencies), as well as with the professionals from other disciplines.
