Artist statement
My artistic practice is rooted in how we as humans today relate to the physical world, especially when so much of our perception is mediated through images, narratives, and electronic media. How does the body and our senses encounter the environment and the slow processes that exist behind the flow of human information? Central to my work is the experience of scale, spatiality, and the physical relationship between objects — whether in an exhibition space, an architectural structure, or the landscape’s topography and history. This manifests through sculpture, installation, photography, and video.
