Artist statement
Geometric Abstraction means for me a way of thinking. We can find patterns everywhere from Nature to social behaviours. There is a lot of information and knowledge in patterns, somehow they rule all our experiences. I think we can learn a lot from patterns if we are aware. Symmetry, repetition, rotation, iteration, size variations, movement, transformation, evolution. Trough so many years working with Geometric Abstraction, I came up understanding shape as the result of an intelligent process that goes beyond a singular and isolated mind, and points to the very creative principles of life.
