Artist statement

Through painting, drawing, text and interactive video art, I imitate my own thinking process. I collapse the immediate impression, environment, memories, and dreams into one single moment. I render it as a painterly still image or dissect it and present as a vibrant visual flow of drawings and texts on large sheets of paper. I use interactive video art as an additional interim substance to my paintings and drawings. It helps me to evaluate my working process towards finding new creative approaches and ideas. Ideally, I see all the components working and interacting as one whole unit.
