Artist statement

My research interrogates the critical fractures of contemporary society, focusing on the ecological crisis, global inequality, and the profound alienation inherent in the capitalist-consumerist system. I navigate the "Age of Plastic" by scavenging heterogeneous fragments of everyday life—discarded technological devices, mass-produced toys, and domestic furnishings—to use as my primary vocabulary.By decontextualizing these found objects, I strip them of their original utility and reassemble them into new, symbolic forms. These "contemporary fossils" serve as a mirror to our collective behaviors, transforming throwaway materials into conduits for reflection. My practice seeks to challenge the permanence of the disposable, inviting the viewer to question the sustainability of human activity and the psychological contradictions embedded within our material culture.
