Artist statement
Artist statement: I look at life in the face of death and violence, in love and tenderness. The viewers gaze is therefore uninterrupted and directly focused on the events depicted. This is my interpretation of art. That is my job as an artist. That is the essence of my work, no matter what form I find for it. All techniques of art are always open to me with this agenda.
