Artist statement
Most of my life and my art has been influenced by wars: first the Vietnam War (including a stint as a political refugee), and later, the Iraq War. Therefore it is not surprising that my early work followed "The Concerned Photographer" genre. In later years I adopted the more modern label of "Activist Artist". Since the 90's I narrowed my vision to political satire, and have expanded my range from Photographer, to performance artist, sculptor, and fiber artist.
