Artist statement

I'm an illustrator and artist working across digital art, ink drawing, and photography. My work moves between the abstract and the recognizable — swirling horses, patterned animals, watercolor-style landscapes — always chasing movement and feeling over perfect likeness. Animals are at the heart of what I make. Horses, dogs, the creatures I share my life with — I draw them the way they feel, not just the way they look. My black-and-white spiral pieces are meditations; my landscapes are memories of places that moved me. I make art because I have to. It's how I understand the world.
