Eva Fàbregas
Lives and works in Madrid, Spain
Artist statement
Eva Fàbregas (b. 1988, Barcelona) lives and works in Madrid. Working with soft and malleable materials, Fàbregas’ practice embraces tactile experience, physical intimacy and multiple forms of somatic experimentation. Her work unfolds through touch, proposing a mode of learning that emerges from the body rather than language. It aims to inhabit a guttural, pre-linguistic realm from which to imagine alternative ways of feeling, caring and being in the world.
