Artist statement

My artwork results from the connection with other human beings. The energy that comes from this "being connected" is conserved in the colours of my artworks. In some cases the person that I felt this energy with is participating in the creation of my artwork - it becomes a kind of teamwork between me and the other one. Many of those connections results from my work for others: african girl orphans, syrian refugees in Germany, sexually abused young women which I coach while they wait for a therapy place. I believe that if you are strong, you have to be good: my artwork is interwoven with my support for those women. My art work is based on nature photography which I print on big canvas. Then I cover myself (and the other one) with clay colour and go on that canvas. It is a kind of therapy I guess. It makes me happy!
