Lives and works in Tel Aviv, Israel
Artist statement
I was born in Irkutsk - Russia in 1981. I started my education at the Irkutsk College of Arts. The study of History of Art at the Tel Aviv University (Israel) was the logical next step in the progression of my academic training. Additionally, I studied display window design at Shenkar College of Design where I learned various techniques such a 3D model building, working with glass etc. As of today, I am enriching my skills further, learning from Ran Tenenbaum. The most enticing element of painting for me is the ability to use real-world and fantasy themed imagery simultaneously. I believe pieces of art that combine the two have inherent depth and value.
