Lives and works in Tel Aviv, Israel
Artist statement
In the combined painting works I found more options to the galaxy spaces with references to the landscape of Eretz Israel to touch a pastoral background to the endpoints of the woman, the mother, in each of the layers of the painting. Endpoints that become points of transformation, where the particular shape can move to its inversion. That is, the end of the pictorial sequence is not an end point, but a turning point. As the drawing approaches the edge across one of the sequences, there is a possibility that it will move beyond the edge, or to its opposite. At the edges the opposites coalesce, or they can replace each other
