Lives and works in Sassari, Metropolitan City of Sassari, Italy

Artist statement

As a self-taught contemporary artist, my practice stems from an urgent inner necessity rather than formal academic training. I do not create merely beautiful objects; I create works that transmit raw emotion and serve as a critique of contemporary identity. My visual research is a deconstruction built upon a powerful contrast: the innocent symbols of childhood—such as plush toys and icons of play—juxtaposed with the harsh, corrupted realities of the present. Through a mixed media approach combining acrylic, ink, texture, and digital glitches, I explore themes of suppression, emotional censorship, and vulnerability. The physical blocks or bandages over the eyes in my figures act as silent barriers against a saturated visual culture. Ultimately, my work is a visceral denunciation of how individuality is constrained, bridging the gap between forgotten youthful innocence and the fractured psychological state of the adult world.
