Facundo Yebne

Lives and works in Miami Beach, FL

Artist statement

I am Facundo Yebne, known as FLY, a Miami based Argentine American artist working in large scale public installation. My practice began in 2024 after twenty five years building businesses in real estate, hospitality and wellness between Miami and Buenos Aires. A few months after discovering my passion for Art, a rubber duck popped up and we bonded. The duck is familiar, universal and disarming. I build with thousands of them, monuments to joy, identity and resilience. UnityBeak, two monumental ducks assembled from 14,000 mini rubber ducks, was commissioned by the City of Miami Beach and Lincoln Road for Pride 2025. The Florence edition of UnityBeak received Fourth Prize for Installation Art at the XV Florence Biennale 2025. Proud Love, a ten foot heart of nearly 7,000 ducks, stood on Lincoln Road the same year. In 2026 my residency at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel, One World. One Game., presented 16 original works including Americana, a duck rendered in the colors of the USA flag installed in the hotel lobby. I recently completed Pastel, commissioned by Kevin Barry Art Advisory for an Arquitectonica development on Biscayne Boulevard. My work lives where the public lives: streets, hotels, plazas. It invites touch, photos, participation. I build at architectural scale, deliver on civic timelines, and make crowds stop walking, smile, and snap a picture.
