Artist statement

I am a visual artist based in Bratislava, Slovakia. I hold a Master's degree in Scenography (Mgr. art.) from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. My practice centers on a technique I call deconstructed canvas, where I unravel the linen itself so that absence becomes visible and part of the composition. My work explores the invisible structures, cycles, and quiet transformations that shape existence, often through the recurring motif of the ensō, the Zen circle that is never fully closed.
