Lives and works in New York City, NY, USA
Artist statement
I’m always looking and searching for new worlds that need to be made visual, and use a variety of photographic, video and digital processes to manifest these painterly abstract images. I embrace the use of high-tech means, but in a low tech kind of way. I want you to get close to the work - to look harder and see anew. The latest series is of a peripheral world. A place where order and disorder meet – a cosmic edge. The images compress space where the back is front and outside is inside. Past, present and future coexist simultaneously where space is ambiguous. Wrinkles, folds, and ripples appear with grids, structures, and formations like a topographical map. Printed on paper, canvas or linen, they occupy a digital painting space.
