Gerson Toigo is a native of Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, born on December 6, 1965. A nature, street, and portrait photographer, he seeks to capture the emotions present at the moment the photograph is taken. He is knowledgeable in various artistic disciplines, including animation, music, drawing, and cinema. He also has expertise in visual ethnography, which he aims to apply to his photography. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Europe and Brazil, won photography contests, and had his photographs and essays published in magazines and newspapers.
