Harold McNaron

Lives and works in Portland, OR, USA

Artist statement

Portland, Oregon-based artist Harold McNaron utilizes photography and other media to play, puzzle and rearrange the realities of contemporary urban life. Inspired by those detail shot postcards in the museum gift shop, naturally-occurring abstractions, musics and the ordered parallels of spreadsheets, McNaron’s current work explores themes of autonomy, play and home.
