Lives and works in Czech Republic

Artist statement

My work explores the existential experience of living in a present shaped by hyperreality, technological acceleration, and anxiety about the future. I am particularly interested in how technology alters our perception of reality and how rapidly changing systems reshape what we consider natural, possible, or real. Having grown up without computers, smartphones, or constant connectivity, I experienced a world before these technologies became ubiquitous. This personal distance allows me to perceive the digital present as something that could have been otherwise. I bring together disparate sources, technologies, materials, and systems, allowing them to collide and generate unexpected relationships. My questions often take the form of speculative experiments: How will EEG data look in marble? Can I outmaneuver AI in an evolutionary process through the choices I make? How long would a poem need to be before overlapping QR codes for each line form a black square? What does it mean to translate a generated image into a painting? These questions function less as problems to solve than as tools for thinking. Through the tension between the technological and the physical, the ancient and the emerging, the measurable and the imagined, I use art to explore how we might understand our place within a world that is changing faster than our ability to comprehend it.
