Lives and works in Milan, Metropolitan City of Milan, Italy

Artist statement

Trained in both Architecture and Art, using different media across photography, painting, drawing and installation, my work focus in creating different environments often with a socially critical yet imaginative and even playful rendition of industrial and urban development in Europe and South america. My installations and 3d drawings also features similarities between natural elements of the forest reproduced unconsciously in our cities. Im influenced in the subterranean system of the trees as well as the powerful interconnections of the human body to amplify the richness and distance of nature in todays society. Through the process of creating parallels between nature and human, my work started as fantasy landscapes recalling past experiences in spontaneous site-specific installations accessible to the public, to a more critic and present approach in the use of our natural resources and the fatal consequences regarding the environment of the future. The source of my projects starts from a dialogue regarding the interaction between Art and Architecture, and the idea to operate the immensity landscape through a poetic study of the urban and natural territory conceiving a temporary form. In the last year I have develop my works creating a bridge between the inherent emotional experiences of my installations and how the discipline of science and nature can collaborate in the undestanding and analisis of my research, setting up various layers of complexity and collective debate.
