Artist statement

Inspired by the ever changing movement of energy and vibrations that shape the world, my signature style is a language of brushstrokes that emulates this flow. Landscapes and objects interact with metaphysical bird-feather motifs, through which I explore the tension between heaviness and lightness, figuration and abstraction, ecstasy and misery, movement and stillness. My canvases are primed with a base layer of color, then sealed with a glossy primer, allowing oil paint to flow fluidly and create the desired line effects. By transforming featherlike forms into abstract, biomorphic shapes, I suggest deeper connections and meanings. I consider myself a transcendental painter, where figurativism and abstraction go on a thin line. Feathers, with their inherent lightness and delicate structure, become a bridge between the material and the spiritual, reinforcing the themes of movement, energy, and transcendence that define my work. I invite the viewer to embrace the power of flow, witness frozen moments of existence, and embark on a transformative journey that transcends the boundaries of the everyday. Through my art, I strive to uplift and inspire, immersing the viewer in a realm where the extraordinary becomes the norm and the vibrant energy of the universe dances before their eyes.
