Artist statement

I am interested in the building blocks of reality: How we construct these realities through sensous, rational and relational knowledge systems. The influence of technology on these constructions inspires me to investigate the blurring of physical and virtual spaces through installations and video. I view slime and ‘slimy thinking’, alongside ambivalence and the tolerance of ambiguity, as tools for navigating the increasing complexity of our daily lives.
