Lives and works in Chicago, IL, USA

Artist statement

I am an interdisciplinary fiber artist using rope and industrial textiles to reinterpret painting histories through the lens of craft and material culture. Weilding weaving and knotting techniques as a connective drawing device results in topographical, bas-relief sculptures that undulate across walls, floors, and ceilings. These works blend sculptural forms with the illusion of the painted plane, moving within and beyond their rectangular enclosures. My imagined landscapes are psychedelic, apocalyptic, and abstract; they embrace playful colors and mark-making techniques, highlighting the joy of process and expression.
