Artist statement
Painting is my response to the personal and collective challenges of existence. I blend figurative and abstract elements, drawing from real-world imagery and my imagination. Through color, texture, and varied techniques, I explore a range of reactions, turning the surface into an emotional landscape. My work confronts the struggle of preserving innocence and vulnerability amid societal pressures. These paintings emerge from both reverence and restlessness, capturing the contradictions of the human experience through an autobiographical lens. Each piece invites deeper questioning and reveals layers of meaning that resonate like echoes of fleeting memories.
