Artist statement
Over the past twenty years, I have created a series of photographs, artist books, videos, installations, public artworks, works on paper, and web-based projects that explore the wonder and the strangeness found in the seeming ordinariness of everyday life. Many of my recent projects have consisted of anonymous public interventions installed in tucked-away locations with the hope of creating a surprise encounter/experience for an unexpecting audience. My goal is to create an experience that encourages curiosity and contemplation, inviting viewers to engage with the world around them in a more meaningful and connected way.
