Artist statement

A great deal of my inspiration comes from finding beauty and symmetry in a chaotic world. Natural patterns, geometry and layers upon layers of color. I don't consider the story my paintings ever done. I may be done with the paints and brush strokes, but each time it is experienced by a new person the story of that painting comes alive again. I spend a considerable amount of time trying to decide which way is up for my paintings!
