Lives and works in New York, NY
Artist statement
My work explores memory, vulnerability, attachment, and the emotional lives we project onto objects and environments. I work primarily in sculpture and mixed media, combining hand-carved wood, stone, resin, found materials, and subtle electronics. I’m interested in contrasts between permanence and fragility, intimacy and distance, and craft and technology. Small figures, animals, and responsive elements often appear within dreamlike or psychologically charged settings. Through these material pairings, I create objects that feel familiar yet slightly uncanny, inviting viewers into quiet encounters with tenderness, absence, and connection.
