Lives and works in Poland
Artist statement
Painting is my voice in a discussion about both important and seemingly trivial matters. I strive to create works that are layered and open to multiple interpretations. Vibrant, pulsating colors are meant to captivate the viewer and invite them to gradually uncover successive layers of meaning. I seek to infuse my works with ambiguities and complexities that captivate me: the juxtaposition of piety and perversion, childishness and maturity, morality and licentiousness, religion and science, beauty and kitch. My subjects encompass a range of themes: from science and culture—both high and popular—to the natural world that envelops us and the civilization that consumes it; from distant worlds, space, and mythical realms to current issues that stir global consciousness. I intertwine motifs, art history references, and elements of pop culture and pop science with humor and irony, often creating absurd associations. Yet, ultimately, my work retlects a gentle and empathetic stance towards reality.
