Artist statement

As an artist I have always been fascinated by stories told in images both as a filmmaker and a photographer. All-important is the frame and what is contained within. Every detail conveys something to the viewer. The manor in which light reveals the subject, the subject it’s self and a context that at times can be intentionally mysterious. I believe it is my occupation as an artist to create a mood, evoke strong visceral feelings in those who examine my work regardless of my specific intent.
