Artist statement

As a creator and performer, I interrogate feminist culture unearthing connections between vintage memories and present day life. Sampling gestures, photographic images, video and sound design, I delve into an emotionally fraught terrain of how the female body is looked at, from both the vantage point of the viewer and the one being viewed.
