Artist statement
I believe in the magical potential of poetry, sound, and ritual. With a background in creative writing, cultural anthropology, and philosophy, my art is influenced by my studies and personal experiences and often features material from my own archive. At the heart of my work are themes of radical feminism, political mythologies, the digital sphere, and participant observation. I am interested in the ways in which these themes intersect and how they can be used to challenge and disrupt dominant narratives. Through my art, I aim to create immersive and interactive experiences that encourage audiences to engage with and reflect upon their own beliefs and assumptions. I believe that art has the power to inspire change and to foster greater understanding and empathy among individuals and communities. I am constantly seeking new ways to push the boundaries of traditional art forms and to explore the potential of new technologies.
