Lives and works in Japan
Artist statement
When I first making a mobile object I noticed that I was balancing my mental not only the object. To create balancing objects are not so difficult for me using my experiences of skiing which I started when I was a small child. Creations have been more like a meditation for me. My current interest is if universal and eternal beauty exist? If it does, what it’s like? What people feel beautiful about? I want to create something beautiful and heal people sharing my creations. Along with the form of the object, I believe that the unity of the five senses that people recognize is important. I also focus on how to use air where the objects exist. Wind where the objects exist unite five senses. I want to pursue the universal eternal beauty and healing that is produced as the result.
