Lives and works in Atlanta, GA

Artist statement

I paint hoping to hold the fleeting gestures and gentle exchanges that often pass unnoticed, subtle moments where connection and intimacy live. My work is a celebration of what people express when they feel safe enough to be truly seen. Collaboration is at the heart of my practice. The models who join me bring their stories, their presence, and their willingness to share. Before there is a pose, there is conversation; together we make space for openness and trust, where every gesture becomes an expression of connection. This focus was born from a turning point. A cancer diagnosis, surgeries, and treatments forced me to confront how fragile life is, and how much meaning lives in the moments we rush past. That clarity reshaped my priorities and compelled me to create artwork that honors the fullness of being human. Now in remission, each new painting is an expression of gratitude. Through bold brushwork, rich color, and intention, I reveal the stories beneath the surface: the narrative in a gaze, the confidence in a body laid bare, the warmth in a moment of stillness. My practice now reaches beyond the studio walls, capturing meaningful moments in the forests of Atlanta and beyond. The human form, in all its variation, remains both my subject and my storyteller. Art is how I honor this life, connect deeply with others, and share that experience. Each piece gives permanence to the impermanent and invites us to pause, reflect, and perhaps recognize something of ourselves.
