Lives and works in Dallas, TX, USA

Artist statement

I was born in the midwestern state of Wisconsin during the 70’s, but due to my father’s career with the federal government, my family moved around frequently during my elementary years, 4 different states before I was six years old, then another move to Texas when I was 14. Because of the somewhat transient nature of my childhood, my photography deals with discovering a sense of place, the familiar and hidden spaces that make up where I call home. I believe in the power of photography in the book format, because of that I am a frequent self publisher of zines and small photobooks.
