Lives and works in New York, NY, USA

Artist statement

When we were young we were more open to looking deeply at little things, maybe because we were closer to the ground or maybe because of our size we were more comfortable with the tiny. Now, I am old and working with microscopic imagery to restore my sense of creative wonder and youth-like energy. Every time I look at a scope, I get more and more excited about life! I like algae and macroalgae and how much they contribute to our life cycle systems and photosynthesis and purifying of the air. I like that they are colorful and use light to live. I hope that I can bring them joy through expressing my enthusiam for it!
