Artist statement

My works seek to subtly interrupt perceptual habits, dissolving them into a nothingness of white noise, in which slowly new thought forms and forms of thinking might appear, remembering while overcoming historical violence that had been placed upon the minds of humanity. DisEmpowerment as the two sides of the same coin: where figures of the past disappear, and the unthinkable emerges. To fulfill these intentions, I have established a rigorous process of questioning myself and others, trying to reflect the skeletal remains of a historic process that is about to destroy all life on earth. The results of this thought process are made visible through various media that shift according to what is most appropriate to the respective medium and (cultural) context of that process.
