Artist statement

Group 705 is a collectively managed platform on which members of the group work at the intersection of contemporary art, theater, street action, animation and film. The group is interested in collective practices, naive and poor art, children's creativity, an interdisciplinary approach, etc. Art is considered as a language for understanding social and political processes and personal experience. The group was formed in 2005 on the basis of the Children's Media Center with the support of ArtEast. Since 2014 group 705 has been part of the Arts Collaboratory translocal network.
