Artist statement

The core of my artistic research is to explore and investigate the mechanisms and conditions under which occur production of abstract, viable and autonomous images and not just reproduction of images of existing objects. In this way my research also investigate the influences of culturally transmitted stereotypes and images. In fact, the configurations of shapes and colors in my artworks, just like Rorschach test, stimulate in the observer the emersion of both cultural and individual deep imagery. This is only trough a long and slow contemplation, that I call "deep seeing".
