Artist statement

Short Artist statement In my artistic practice, I devote myself mainly to the photographic medium and painting. Exploring the two-dimensional format is at the heart of my creative approach as I explore the many possibilities. In the last about 20 years, I have mainly devoted myself to photography. Nevertheless, I have recently experienced a return to painting, especially acrylic painting as my interest beginnig in art as i Child. In doing so, I strive to bring aspects of life to light and explore the complexity of human experiences in connection with oneself and the environment. My works reflect profound themes such as identity, emotions, spirituality and the complex relationship and connection between humans and nature.My fascination for two-dimensional image design flows seamlessly into my photographic work, with a special focus on poetic nuance. This permeates my landscape and tree/plant photographic portraits that highlight the grace and power of plants and places, presenting them as living, meaningful beings.This creative duality opens up a space for my personal exploration of the connections in nature and in the world. Connections between the individual, nature and spirituality.
