Artist statement

Researching my fascination with the contemporary art movement known as “Light and Space “ , I continue to develop the ideas and concepts first presented in California in the 1970’s. I am a pop artist with social practice awareness and training attune into consciousness. I believe my work to be conceptual in nature and look for connections and synchronicities into the public sphere- those who may discover and identify within it. My studio practice centers around sketching ideas- sculpture, painting, collage, and screen-printing, on any number of available mediums. I also explore a meditative practice to help my creative process that includes remote viewing, numerology and dream analysis. I subscribe that an artist’s role is often to observe and reflect the environment around them and promote a reaction. Thank You
