Artist statement

b. Mgarr, Malta 1999. ​ My work centers around merging design and art into a contemporary context. The core of my work revolves around the theme of ''Home'' under the title "I Grew Up On a Rock''. Growing up on an island surrounded by the sea, rocks, and prickly pears, my childhood was full of adventures along cliff edges. This body of work aims to evoke memories that transport us back to moments of joy and appreciation for the present. Memories, both positive and negative, are intricately woven into my work, encouraging viewers to connect through shared experiences and seek solace, especially in moments of solitude. Ultimately, this project celebrates the elements that define a genuine sense of "Home," where I Have created a series of sculptural pieces
