Lives and works in Los Angeles, CA, USA
Artist statement
My work lives at the intersection of nature, memory, and identity. I blend naturalistic drawing with abstract forms, drawing from close observation of plants, human emotion, and my Persian heritage, especially the intricate language of Persian miniature painting. My paintings are traces of thought, shaped by lived experience, loss, and the quiet search for belonging. I am deeply drawn to botanical forms, heir veins, curves, and hidden structures seeing in them echoes of the human body and soul. Using swirling, biomorphic shapes and fluid transitions, I deconstruct and reassemble elements of the natural world, merging them with geometric precision and layers of transparency. This interplay of soft and solid, organic and structured, reflects the emotional and cultural balances we all navigate.Themes of fertility, pollination, appear in my recent works , symbolizing , loss, and transformation.
