Artist statement
For the past ten years, I have used photography as a way to explore both the world around me and the emotional connections that unite us. Through travels across the U.S., South America, and Europe I seek unique perspectives and moments that exist at the extremes of light and darkness, capturing images that reveal depth, contrast, and humanity in unexpected places. As a husband and father of three, I am continually inspired by the relationships and experiences that shape how we see one another. My work is rooted in the belief that photography has the power to awaken empathy, encourage kindness, and illuminate the the world we share, inviting viewers to slow down, connect, and see each other, with greater compassion.
