Artist statement
I am excited to live in a rapidly changing world in which visual media play an important role. I have always been fascinated by the optical imageāI began my path from black and white film photography, and today I am discovering the world of spherical video and immersive video installations. With this diverse experience, I am lucky to have an opportunity to create meanings and visual experience for wide audiences. One of my goals is to work in the intersection of social studies, literature, technology and science, imagery and sound. Another goal is responding to challenges of the outer world, as I consider the new ethic of the society to be readiness to react to changes in the world. Therefore, I strive to create art that will communicate with people, and I want to develop a new visual language which will be relevant to contemporaneity. Developing new visual experience and suggesting alternative realities for viewers allows me to participate in the process of seeking new social roles for the arts today.
