Artist statement

The work I make is about using images to find a visual language to share the complex emotional trauma surrounding my personal experiences as a woman and has a mother. Acknowledging my humanity by laying my life bare inviting viewers to understand my unique journey as a way to relate to each other through the commonalities of universal experiences. The dichotomy of life that we are so different and still very much the same.
